Meal Planning???!!!???

Do you meal plan? I try to, but I am no where near as good as some of the people I have read blogs about.
What I do is sit down a day or two before grocery day, and think of approximately 14 dinner ideas (since I shop every two weeks) Then I do a quick scan of the pantry, fridge and freezer. The I make a grocery list. I always try and use some coupons when I shop. And I usually try a new recipe every two weeks.
Below I will list some of the dishes I whip up for suppers......

Egg-citing Tip!

Making a recipe and realize you are out off eggs! Do not fret; try this instead!
Substitute 1 tsp baking powder plus 1 and 1/2 tbs water plus 1 and 1/2 tbs for each egg.
(only recommend to not to replace any more than two eggs)
The baking powder will give the baked item the "rising factor" and the oil the "sticking" factor that the eggs usually lend to the recipe.
This tip wpuld be very useful to those with egg allergies as well.
I found this on a very neat blog....http://cleverhomemaking.blogspot.com

Chili Time!

Fall is here, and the weather is getting cooler and "chilier" I tried this recipe last year for my husband and he really likes it. A different twist on the normal chili. It is a Rachael Ray recipe.
